Several years ago, the developers at Firefox took on 
an attitude that "They Know Best", and began in many 
cases to stop listening to user imput.  They began   
making significant theme and feature set changes by 
fiat, while simultainiously taking away the ability 
for the users to undo or modify these changes.  

To push back, and again put the end user in control,
Aris developed the Classic Theme Restorer add-on, 
which allows the user to change the theming of 
Firefox to again meet their personal preferences.

If you are still on Windows XP, this is a great 
addition, because it will allow you to change the new 
"rounded" theme back to the classic "squared" theme 
(so the browsers look-n-feel matches better with the 
look-n-feel of all your other Windows XP apps).
